- Dr Tay Chih Kien
Dr Tay Chih Kien is the Principal Dentist at True Dental Studio and has more than 25 years of experience in dentistry. His main areas of interest are Root Canal Treatment (Endodontics), Implant Dentistry, and Invisalign.
Dr Tay has seen patients from young children to the elderly, and has also been entrusted as the choice of a family dentist for many patients.
He helps his patients feel at ease by gently and clearly explaining each step of the procedure, and ensuring that the patient’s questions and concerns are fully addressed. This has earned him many recommendations and repeated support from different areas in Singapore.
Dr Tay graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry, National University of Singapore (NUS) with a Degree of Bachelor of Dental Surgery in the year 2000. During his stint at the university, he and his team were awarded the 2nd prize for their Final Year Research Project. He served at the “SingHealth Dental Clinic” at Geylang Polyclinic and “National Healthcare Group Polyclinics Dental Clinic” at Choa Chu Kang Polyclinic as the In-charge of both dental clinics.
Throughout the years, Dr Tay has acquired extensive experience in cosmetic dental work including Dental Crowns, Dental Bridges, Veneers, Root Canal Treatment (Endodontics), Dental Implants and Invisible Braces (Invisalign).
As a firm believer in continual studies to improve his professional skills, Dr Tay regularly attends courses locally and overseas such as:
